Privacy Policy

Audio Cleaner Pro processes your audio in your own browser and never uploads it. What is held on a server is limited to an account if you make one, a record of what you have paid for, and any message you send through the contact page. This page sets out each of those in turn, and what you can ask to have removed.

1. Your audio is never uploaded

Every file you load is decoded, processed and rendered inside your browser. Your recordings are never uploaded, sent anywhere, or stored on a server, and no copy of them exists outside your own machine.

2. What is held on a server

An account, only if you make one. Signing in is needed only for export access. The account holds the email address you registered with, your name if you gave one, your role on the site, your export balance and subscription state, and how much of the day's free export allowance has been used along with the time of the last free export — which is what the daily limit is counted from.

Purchase records. When you buy credits or the monthly plan, the purchase is recorded against your email address: which plan was bought, the amount and currency charged, how many credits were granted and how many have been used, the payment status, and the reference numbers Stripe issues for the customer, the subscription and the checkout session. A free export is recorded the same way, with no amount charged, so the day's allowance can be counted and its download authorised. These records are what the export gate checks before a download is authorised.

Messages you send. The contact form stores the name, email address, message and topic you provide. The address a submission came from is also stored, and is used only to rate-limit anonymous senders so the form cannot be flooded.

3. What is kept in your own browser

Closing the page or signing in does not lose your work: the last queue of files, the titles, artists and track numbers you typed, and every control position are kept in your browser's own storage, alongside your theme choice and any presets you saved. They stay on your machine, they are not sent anywhere, and clearing your browser's site data removes them. A browser that refuses to store them simply means you pick your files again.

4. Payments

Card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never reach this app or its servers. What is kept here is only the reference numbers and payment status described above. Stripe also sends your receipts, and its own privacy policy covers the payment details you give it at checkout.

5. Who else processes the data

Stripe handles payments, receipts and subscription management. The platform the app is hosted on, and whose database holds these records, stores the account, purchase and contact entries. An email service delivers the notification sent when a contact message arrives. No data is sold, and none is shared with anyone else.

6. How long it is kept

Purchase and credit records are kept for as long as your account exists, and financial records may be kept longer where tax and accounting rules require it. Contact messages are kept until they have been dealt with and deleted. Anything held in your browser stays until you clear it.

7. Your choices

Write through the contact page and a reply comes back to the address you leave there. You can ask to see what is held about you, to have it corrected, or to have your account and its records deleted, and each request is dealt with individually. You can sign out at any time, and clearing your browser's site data removes everything the app kept on your own machine.

8. Children

Audio Cleaner Pro is for people aged 13 and over. Accounts are not knowingly created for anyone younger, and if you believe a child under 13 has made one, write through the contact page and it will be removed.

9. Tracking

No advertising or marketing trackers are used, and none of the data described here is used to build an advertising profile or sold on. The only ways the site recognises you between visits are the sign-in session and the browser storage described above.

10. Changes to this policy

Any change to this policy comes with a new date at the foot of the page, and the version on this page is always the current one.

Questions about anything on this page go through thecontact page, and a reply comes back to the address you leave there.
